Our Perogie Casserole is one of ultimate comfort food. Hearty and flavorful, easy to make and ready minutes. Directions: Stove top: boil 6 cups of water in a saucepan, add noodles and stir into boiling water. Reduce heat to a low boil for 8 to 12 minutes, until noodles are tender. Drain noodles return to pan and brown with 1/4 cup of butter to desired crispiness. This step gives the noodles your crispiness. Then add 1 cup of water and the seasoning pack stir for 3 to 5 minutes,reducing the liquid by half. You can serve this dish over mashed potatoes,or add 2 pounds of your favorite ground meat(6 servings with ground meat), or both. We enjoy this dish topped with sour cream. For Casserole, follow above instructions, add your choice of potato, ground meat, and top with noodle mixture. add shredded cheese and bake in a 350 Deg F. oven for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly. Top with sour cream.
